Job: Cook

We currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Cook for one of our client in South Australia, must have Certificate III including at least two years of experience or AQF Certificate IV. We are looking for someone is organised, creative, and passionate about food and customer service. You will be able to work in a high-pressure, high-turnover environment, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be a team player and also able to work unsupervised.

Job Description

• Wash, peel, cut, and seed fruits and vegetables to prepare them for consumption;
• Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and all other cooking equipment’s;
• Preparing, cooking and seasoning food;
• Knowledge of storing food in temperature controlled;
• Prepare food to meet special dietary requirements or may plan menus;
• Planning estimate food requirements;
• Maintaining and ensuring the quality of food stuff;
• Maintaining and ordering stocks and supplies;
• Training the other kitchen staff if needed;
• Adhering safety policies and procedures all the time.
